Today, 22nd May, 2023, we come together to honour the remarkable founder of Gamaliel & Susan Onosode Foundation (GAMSU), Mr. Gamaliel Onosode (of blessed memory), and mark a significant milestone - our 10th anniversary. Inspired by his unwavering love for education, Mr. Onosode envisioned a foundation that would transform the lives of children and youths, particularly those in underprivileged circumstances, through qualitative education.
GAMSU, a not-for-profit and non-political organization incorporated in May 2013, was born out of this noble vision. Guided by the core principle of fostering the success of the Nigerian child, GAMSU has continuously provided innovative and flexible learning opportunities while creating an enabling environment for educational growth.
We remain steadfast in our objectives, which include the promotion and support of educational institutions and programs championed by faith-based or government organizations in Nigeria. As we progress organically, one student, one school, and one community at a time, the Nigerian child remains at the center of our efforts, serving as the catalyst for transformative education.
We are also not relenting in working with our dedicated partners - Dolly Children Foundation, The Destiny Trust Children Foundation, Reel Foundation, and many others in delivering access to quality education to disadvantaged children. Their incredible efforts remind us that together, we can nurture hope for the future generation.
Today, we pay tribute to Mr. Gamaliel Onosode's indelible legacy and his tireless pursuit of excellence. His visionary leadership and passion for uplifting young lives have paved the way for us to impact countless individuals and communities throughout Nigeria.
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to upholding the highest values set by our esteemed founder. Together, we will continue to elevate the standard of education across the nation, leaving an enduring imprint of positive change.
